Cortney Frank is a graduate of the Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where she graduated cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo Law School. While in law school, Ms. Frank was an active member of a number of programs in the school’s Advocacy Institute, and was selected to represent the school in two national trial team competitions. Additionally, Ms. Frank was a participant in the Charles S. Desmond Moot Court Competition and member of the law school’s Moot Court Board, directed to the development of oral argument skills.
Ms. Frank is admitted to practice in the State of New York. She is a member of the New York Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County. Her practice is largely devoted to insurance defense litigation, Plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, and appellate work. She has extensive experience in environmental and mass tort litigation, as well as the litigation of other matters involving large commercial motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and product liability.
Further, Ms. Frank serves as a Volunteer Adjunct Faculty for the University at Buffalo School of Law in the Trial Team program where she helps mentor students in the Trial Team program to prepare them to compete in national mock trial competitions.
