Mina E. Khalil is a civil rights attorney who specializes in state and federal civil rights cases, including false arrest, malicious prosecution, discrimination, due process, and tort liability. He joined Caitlin Robin & Associates after serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office where he handled a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases and investigated police and prosecutorial misconduct. Since graduating from law school, he has also lectured and taught while completing law fellowships at both NYU and Harvard Law Schools. His practice areas encompass constitutional law, criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence, administrative law, tort liability, and comparative law.

He obtained his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and his B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Stanford University. He also obtained his M.A. and Ph.D. in modern Middle East legal history from the University of Pennsylvania.

He is admitted to practice law in both New York and Pennsylvania.
